A lively week packed with activities for upper elementary youth entering grades 4-6: hiking, swimming, arts and crafts, Bible study, singing, campfire programs, small group and all camp games. $205.

Trailblazers (Grades 7-9) at Lutheran Hills
A week geared for young teens entering grades 7-9, involving more advanced activities and more individual choice than for younger campers. Activities included: Bible study, canoe/hiking trips, swimming, a cookout/campout, campfire programs, and special evening activities. $205.

The Indiana-Kentucky Synod will host one of the LWF Post-Assembly Visitations — Mission in the Midwest. Enjoy a bus tour with international guests through the heartland of America. Passengers will connect with three mission-focused ministries in the Indiana-Kentucky Synod: "Renewing Congregation" of St. Peter Lutheran Church near Milton, Kentucky, which has tripled in size following a period of redevelopment, Lutherans for Habitat for Humanity in Evansville, Indiana, and the Wernle Children's Home in Indiana, home for young men 8-18 who have been separated from their families by court order, and an Indiana ministry focused on the migrant work population. The tour begins and ends in Valparaiso IN, costs $220 and is open to 50 participants. Registration information is available at (800) 638-3522x2650 or on the DGM website.

Come to the "Zoom Zone" and learn that Jesus Christ never changes - "he is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow!" (Heb. 13:8) The Zoom Zone VBS at St. Thomas needs volunteers, kids, food donations and/or money for food! VBS is Aug 3-7 with a light supper served at 5:30 and VBS from 6-8 pm. The event takes place in the Grand Hall at First United Methodist Church from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Middle Way Food Works will cater the food, including a vegetarian option. Tickets are $10, available in advance or at the door.
    Indiana Equality is a coalition of groups that seeks to add "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" to the list of protected categories in Indiana's civil-rights code.
