BMDG Open Discussion on Islam from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Room 1C of the Monroe County Public Library.
This Saturday we will be specifically talking on the concept of Paradise in Islam. Please see the following questions to have an idea about the expected discussion.
What do you think you have in your life? Think about it for now and then read the following questions.
-Would you like to have your 'Dream Life' realized?
-Why do you think this vast universe has been created? Do we need this huge universe to be there in order to live in this world as a human being?
-Why do you think delight and pleasure are given to our senses; we could have eaten the food and thus fed ourselves without feeling any pleasure?
-Throughout human history we are told by all the prophets that there will be Paradise waiting for us. Why should this news concern us, since I am going to see it anyway, if it is going to happen?
-Why do you think we have the sense of eternity?
-Would you rather live in a world where the happiness will be everybody's share, there is no end for your happy moments, where there is constant renewal of pleasure, no boredom, no worry about anything but full of excitement?
Then come to our discussion on PARADISE IN ISLAM. Before we go to Paradise, we are expected to solve our problems here, because Paradise is a place where there will be no unsolved problems. We'd better get ready!!!
Bring all of your questions and comments with you. We cannot promise you a Paradise but we can search for it together.
