The adult and children's choirs of Trinity Episcopal Church will present a special service of Advent Lessons and Music at 4:00 p.m. The service will include readings, traditional carols, anthems, and solos sung by members of the choir. The music will include beautiful anthems by Orlando Gibbons, John Gardner, G.F. Handel, Boris Ord, and Craig Phillips. Guest soloist will be IU School of Music faculty member Mary Ann Hart. Admission is free; all are warmly invited to attend.

The IU Hillel Center is sponsoring a Dreidel Bash at 3:00 p.m. in the IU Fieldhouse (next to Assembly Hall), and anyone is invited, whether they have their own dreidel or not.

What is a Dreidel bash? This is much more than just playing a game of dreidel. IU is trying to break the world record for the most dreidels being spun in one place at one time. IU managed to capture this record a few years ago, but it was soon broken by the original holder, University of Maryland.

IU is trying to break the record again by having at least 1500 people come to participate in the spinning. As far as I know, this is not BYOD. The students and leaders at Hillel would be happy to see us there.
