Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Indianapolis will install Reverend Keith Kriesel as their new pastor at 3:00 p.m. The congregation and Pastor Kriesel would like to invite you to join in the celebration. A reception will follow.

Baptist, Lutheran, Jew: Can We Get Along?

We've scheduled another opportunity for conversation with our neighboring congregations: University Baptist and Beth Shalom. The topic concerns what it means for us to be religious people and what that means for how we think of those who do not share our particular faith—locally and nationally.

We'll join for a simple supper at St. Thomas at 5:00 p.m., then move to University Baptist for dessert and conversation.

We're providing a meat-based soup and drinks. University Baptist is providing desserts and coffee. Beth Shalom is providing a vegetarian soup and bread. Bring a canned good along to contribute to a local non-profit.

Experimental music ensemble The Humours will present their original settings of the Psalms of Ascent (Psalms 120 - 134) at the Buskirk Chumley Theater at 7:00 p.m.

Influenced by early American folk music, medieval chant, overtone singing, and 20th/21st century techniques, The Humours offer their audience the opportunity to encounter these Psalms in a new way. While mysterious in origin, this set of Psalms is traditionally known as "Pilgrim Songs" and were likely sung along the journey to Jerusalem. General admission $7, students $5.

"The Episcopal and Lutheran Campus Ministries at Indiana University would like to invite you to a traditional English tea and drinks party on Jan. 28th from 5:00 to 6:30pm. This event will take place in the Great Hall of Trinity Episcopal Church (111 South Grant St. — the corner of Grant and Kirkwood), and will provide students, faculty, and staff of IU an opportunity to network, socialize, and share concerns and ideas for coordinating Episcopal and Lutheran Campus Ministry programming, outreach, and activities in the future. Included during the tea will be a short presentation by Peer Ministers of Canterbury and , highlighting their ministries pursued during the fall semester and those planned for the spring, such as worship services, retreats, service projects, GLBT outreach, and interfaith community development.

The event should provide an opportunity for socializing as well as for reflecting upon and discussing the goals of our campus ministries. And the event has been carefully scheduled to conclude in time for all to proceed down the block to the Buskirk-Chumley Theater for the opening of Bloomington's Annual International GLBT Film Festival at 7:00 p.m. If you can join us, please RSVP to lutheran@indiana.edu. Thank you
