LCM Students Midweek meal and bible study. We'll meet at the Rose House (314 South Rose Avenue, across 3rd Street from Forest and Wilkie Dorm) around 5:30, share a meal, and then begin bible study (1 and 2 Corinthians). Ecumenical Advocacy Days for Global Peace with Justice

The third annual Ecumenical Advocacy Days gathering in Washington, D.C. will address urgent global, and now domestic, justice concerns. The event will focus on critical regions including: Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and the United States; as well as issues including: Eco-justice, Jubilee, and economic justice.

Sponsored by a broad range of churches and faith-based coalitions, the gathering will feature challenging speakers, issue briefings, advocacy training workshops and a Lobby Day on Capitol Hill when participants will speak with their Senators and Representatives or key Congressional policy staff.

Conference highlights also include common times for fellowship and networking, a keynote address and banquet dinner, and a special ecumenical service of worship for participants and the public.

First Communion Class at 12:15 p.m.

Those who are not already receiving communion are scheduled to receive their first communion at the Maundy Thursday worship service on March 24th. Maunday Thursday is the day on which the Church commemorates the institution of the sacrament of Holy Communion by our Lord.

Children (accompanied by at least one parent) who are 10 years old or in Fifth Grade, as well as others who may wish to attend and at the discretion of their parents, are welcome. Although we often commune much younger children, we want to help those who ready to learn more about what communion means.

We ask participants to bring a simple lunch. We will gather in Room 7 and have a bite to eat immediately after worship and be ready to beginin class at 12:30.

There's a Place At The Table for you. The Wednesday Lunch Group meets for devotions, prayer and study of next Sunday's scriptures at 12:30 p.m. in Room 3 for one hour. Bring a brown bag lunch.

St. Thomas Men are invited to attend weekly Bible Study and Fellowship from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in Rooms 12 and 13.

LCM Students Midweek meal and bible study. We'll meet at the Rose House (314 South Rose Avenue, across 3rd Street from Forest and Wilkie Dorm) around 5:30, share a meal, and then begin bible study (1 and 2 Corinthians). We should be done by around 7:30. You can come late or leave early, as your schedule permits.
