Sheasby Matiure and the Indiana University Marimba Ensemble is a six-piece marimba performance group consisting of students in the Ethnomusicology Institute of IU. The band's performances consist of marimba music culled from the traditional repertoire and contemporary compositions of Zimbabwe featuring the instructor and leader of the marimba band, Sheasby Matiure. Mr. Matiure, a citizen of Zimbabwe, has received graduate degrees in music in both Zimbabwe and the United States and has performed across Europe, the United States, and Africa both as solo artist and as Artistic Director of the Zimbabwe National Dance Company. Members of the ensemble include: Sheasby Matiure, Clara Henderson, Mark Miyake, Austin Okigbo, Angela Scharfenberge, Mary Sindoni, Delia Alexander, Jose Gomez-Davidson and Paul Schauert.

First Communion Class following the later service. If you have a child interested in First Communion but have not received a letter from the church office, please contact Pastor McKee.
