News & Events — September 2007

Saturday September 1, 2007

We have the rare opportunity to meet with Alejandro Alfaro, Program Director for Sister Parish at 2:00 p.m. here at St. Thomas. He will be traveling around the U.S. visiting congregations affiliated with Sister Parish.

We will meet at St. Thomas (room 17) with Alejandro for an open discussion. This will be a fine opportunity for us to ask the questions many of us have had related to how we best move forward with our involvements both with Chichipate and with our concerns related to mining interests in Guatemala. We might also seek information about the Typing School and how best to manage that relationship.

Alejandro needs transportation to Downers Grove, Illinois following this meeting with us. Please let the office know if you are able to assist.

Brothers! Spiritual Growth Group meets at 10:00 a.m.

Property Committee meets at 10:00 a.m.
