Part I of "Find Your Fit." "Find Your Fit" is designed to help teens to see themselves as God sees them. Specifically, it helps us see ourselves through 5 lenses: talents, spiritual gifts, personality, values, and passions. This meeting will be devoted to the talents section - one of my favorites. So often these days, we see our talents as the "obvious" ones — the classes we get good grades in, the sports we play, the instruments we play, etc. But talents, as God sees them, stretch much farther than the obvious...

Hosted by the congregation of Pleasant View Lutheran Church in Indianapolis, the keynote speaker is Pastor Jamie Gallagher of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dubois, Indiana.

The event begins on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. and ends on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Each event will engage the participant in conversation around the themes of prayer, missional identity, and discipleship. Participants will share and listen to stories and learn how sharing stories strengthens what Lutherans can do as evangelists.

Download and print a brochure to see the workshop schedule and the dates for upcoming workshops. You will also find a registration form.

A special word about the organ postlude this morning...The "Final" from Louis Vierne's Fifth Organ Symphony is more extended than our normal postlude length, clocking in at just over ten minutes. Written by the French composer and organist from Notre-Dame in Paris in the early twentieth century, it is an exciting work that takes two themes through a variety of moods and transformations, and is worth the wait if you are willing to stay and listen!

We welcome through Holy Baptism, Natalie Rei Johnson, daughter of Tim and Sara Johnson. Natalie's sponsor is Andrew Fawbush.

We also welcome new members:
