Join Hands Day is the only national day of service that specifically targets and develops relationships between young people and adults throught neighborhood volunteering. Young people and adults work together on an equal basis to plan, organize and implement the day's activities. It brings young people and adults together, and begins the process of developing understanding and trust across the generations. It is a day to begin a year round process of relationship building.

This year, the organization for which St. Thomas will volunteer is Lutheran Outdoor Ministries. We have offered to spend the day helping re-paint the cabins at Lutheran Hills Camp in Brown County. It is our hope that members of all ages will assist with the event.

If six Thrivent families assist with the event (planning, painting, or any other capacity), Thrivent will provide us with the funds for the supplies.

We look forward to seeing you there! Please see Bob and Jan Ellis, Doug Doblar or Susan Krieg for more details.
