Baltimore, January 30, 2003 — A web diary, telling the story of 20 U.S. Lutherans currently on an LWR Study Visit in East Africa, is now available on LWR's web site. The diary will include photos and reflections after visits with communities that are improving livelihoods and stopping HIV/AIDS, as well as sharing Africa's customary hospitality and hope. Log on January 30-February 6, 2003.
The new video for the Stand With Africa campaign "Banish Hunger" includes places the group will visit. The video is made for adult education sessions. The VHS and study guide are available from LWR for use in ELCA and LCMS parishes. Here's a preview.
