Chicago (ELCA)-FI — The Rev. Timothy F. Lull, president and professor of systematic theology, Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary (PLTS), Berkeley, Calif., died May 20 of complications following surgery. He was 60. PLTS is one of eight seminaries of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
The seminary has announced a funeral service will begin Sunday, May 25, at 4:30 p.m. in the PLTS Chapel of the Cross.
Lull will lie in state Saturday, May 24, between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. in the seminary's Great Hall; and prior to funeral Sunday, May 25, between 3:30 and 4:15 p.m. in the Chapel of the Cross.
Lull and his wife Mary-Carlton were the parents of two adult sons. Lull is also survived by his grandson and by three sisters — the Rev. Patricia J. Lull, dean of students, Luther Seminary, St. Paul, Minn.; Jean Reynolds, South Orange, N.J.; and Kathleen Seaton, Wayne, Pa.
