Visual Arts Spiritual Growth Group

The Visual Arts Spiritual Growth Group is three fold.

As artists it is important to celebrate our gifts and make the making of art a priority in our busy lives. We will be using Julia Cameron's book, The Artist's Way, as our text for a study group that will be meeting every other Thursday at noon at the Encore Cafe, beginning on October 14, 2004.

An interactive lecture series on the visual arts is being coordinated at this time. The focus will be on bringing artists and art historians to St. Thomas to enrich our knowledge of the art/faith connection.

Aesthetics for St. Thomas' physical space is of great importance. A committee will be formed to assist in giving input on the visual aesthetics of our worship space and common areas.
