Global Mission Spiritual Growth Group

The Global Mission Spiritual Growth Group is comprised of Saint Thomas members and friends who share a common interest in forwarding the good news of Jesus Christ in word and deed beyond our immediate boundaries, out into the world. The group supports the efforts of the ELCA Division for Global Mission and the Indiana - Kentucky Synod Global Mission Committee in their work to reach out to other Lutheran churches and support missionaries. The concerns of the group include:

- Promoting and supporting our companion synod, the Huria Kristen Batak Protestan (HKBP) in Indonesia

- Promoting and supporting our companion synod, the Iglesia Evangelica Lutherana de Chile

- Publicizing and encouraging attendance of the ELCA Global Mission Events

- Publicizing and encouraging contributions for mission related Lutheran organizations such as Lutheran World Relief (LWR), Lutheran World Hunger Appeal and Lutheran Disaster Relief (LDR)

- Moving Saint Thomas toward the financial and prayer support of an ELCA missionary.

The Global Mission Spiritual Growth Group will meet twice each month for presentations, mission news, prayer and fellowship.
