St. Thomas has a special relationship with a congregation in Guatemala through the ecumenical international Sister Parish Project organization.

We are linked with a congregation in Chichipate, Guatemala. Our goal is to foster mutual understanding and commitment to peace and justice among people in North and Latin America. We are able to experience the realities of each other's lives and cultures on a religious, political, social and economic level.

Since 1992, regular correspondence and occasional visits by St. Thomas Delegates to Central America have strengthened our ties and helped us to better understand the lives and concerns of our fellow Christians in Santo Domingo de Guzman in Chichipate, Guatemala.
